TREE OF THE YEAR CONTEST IS OVER - This year's contest was for your favorite
green leaf Japanese maple is over. Sango Kaku just nudged-out Viridis.
Ryan Dry voted for Sango Kaku and was chosen randomly as the winner and
announced during half-time of the superbowl. He won a free Sango Kaku, coral bark maple, 10-gal, valued at $125.
Nominees were:Sango Kaku,Osakasuki,Viridis/Waterfall,Acer palmatum,Green Cascade,Meigetsu 'Itaya',Aconitifolium,
and Omure yama.
