FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. . . September 20 , 2010 . . . Maple Society Meeting Oct. 28, 2010 at Dallas Arboretum Keith Johansson, owner Metro Maples, will kickoff the fall meeting of the North American Branch of The Maple Society with a Powerpoint presentation entitled, "A Maple For Every Spot". His presentation will highlight his Shantung maple test-program cultivars and speculate that the future use of this tree in difficult climates will someday surpass that of the Japanese maples. The meeting is at the Dallas Arboretum and tours will also be in Fort Worth, Arlington, and Kennedale, Texas. Other speakers are Peter Gregory, author of Japanese Maples, 4th edition, and Hugh Agnus, director of Westonbirt Arboretum and John Powell. Please see www.maplesociety.org for
